Create Magic Art Shop is a new locally owned art supply shop and gallery located in downtown Wilmington Delaware! Our goal is to curate a space that has you leaving inspired to create something! We are Currently open for the events listed below and by appointment only, but will have full time hours coming this Fall (2026)!

Beach blanket cat show - July 10th - 5 - 8pm
A large group show featuring all works that revolve around cats. with artists from all over Delaware and the country such as, Dreyfus, Buritto Breath, yarissa Luna, Kristen Vaughn, Boss Dog, Erin Silva, Dan August, Chris Estrada, Todd Purse, Jess Slavik, and more!
Summertime zine workshop - July 11th - 11am - 2pm
kick off summer with a fun zine making hang out! This will be a casual introduction to zines and zine making for any medium and skill level. From poetry zines to comics we’ll talk about it all and come away with a zine you can copy and share by the end of the workshop!
Summertime Coffee Hangs - July 16th 5pm - 8pm
Brandywine, Black and White, and Ceremony coffee roasters will be hanging out and sharing some of the most special works of coffee art for a free tasting event! Sleeping Bird Donuts will be there for a donut and co-ferment pairing and there will be live screen printing, making stations, and giveaways! Hope to see all of our Delaware coffee friends!
Maybe Day Hangs - July 23rd 11am - 8pm
Featuring discombobulating art and comix by Bobby Campbell and friends!
Saturday Morning Creative Coffee Hangs - August 1st from 10am - 1pm
All ages creative open hang out at the shop! I’ll , Todd, will be making everyone pour overs of some of the most imaginative coffees in the world from Brandywine Coffee Roasters while we all hang out and make stuff. Bring a sketch book, project in the works, or use the art supplies we’ll be providing to make something fun with fellow creatives on a Saturday morning. You’re welcome to come and just enjoy the coffee and vibes as well!
Delaware music history show - August 7th - 5 - 8pm
This is a special one! Over 60 years of Delaware music history Curated by Chris Haug will be on display for you to view for the first time! From flyers to records, this is gonna have everything including DJs, Panel discussions, and More!
Pareidolia: An interactive group show - September 4th - 5-8pm
A collection of new work by local artists Vik Hart, Heather Thornton, and Todd Purse. Featuring live and interactive mural making, live screen printing, and more!
